I'm all for disabled hunters being able to use crossbows, but I don't think that they should be legalized for everyone. Some of the crossbows out now shoot above 400 fps and to me it is just becoming a weaker form of muzzleloaders.

There is something special to me about using a compound bow to take a deer. I don't want to be looking through a scope all deer season long.

I don't have a problem with them. It is definitely making bow hunting more popular around here. This is the first year for crossbows openly legal for everyone in Oklahoma. I think I will probably get one for my boys to use maybe next year. They will be too small to pull the mandatory 40lb vertical bow for a while, and this will be great for them to shoot until they can shoot a long bow.
