Any words from the wise

Hey everyone,
I am new to this forum and to bow hunting in general. I have hunted with a rifle my whole life. I have moved and changed a lot of things and was wondering if anyone with more experience has any info to give. I am hunting with a crossbow (due to a baseball injury) in the mountains of western NC. I am blessed to have met some great fans at college who have land with great hunting. Will be hunting out of tree stands in wooded areas and we are working on some QDM (Which can be hard at our young age cause we tend to have a quick trigger finger hahaha) but trying to greatly decrease the does to buck ratio. I am looking for any just general bow/early season hunting, crossbow tips, regional tips or in general any advice ya'll have for a young hunter like myself. Thank ya'll for everything and what you do for the younger hunting community like myself. God Bless.

I practice good scent elimination steps. De-scent clothes, body, equipment. I have a steam sauna in deer camp which really helps to keep the skin clean. I like to camo myself in a bit on stand (ladder) with pine/hemlock branches. Stay clean, watch the wind direction, stay still on stand and good things will come your way.
