Nockturnal lighted nocks anyone try these out looking for some new nocks I use Burt coyote Lumenocks but sometimes have trouble with the light not staying on after the shot before that I used the tracers did not like the magnet setup the Nockturnals look good they are switch activated but have heard some problems with the nock not staying in the arrow so I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on them |
I have to order some new crossbow bolts and i have been looking at some already nocked together . dont need um just wanted um But i would want them to work too |
Yeah with the speed of the new bow I almost need them (getting old ) can't see my arrow flight anymore the nockturnals seem like a good concept but if the don't stay in the arrow they are as useless as not staying lit heard people are glueing them in I really don't want to go there |
I used them last year, had mixed results with em. Sometimes they wouldn't light up, sometimes they would. Also slowed down the flight of my arrow quite a bit, had to resight my setup after using them. Just FYI. |

the nockturnals are about $5-$10 cheaper so I may try them as far as slowing them down & resiting I am no expert but had the same issue w/ all the lighted nocks which I think has to do with the extra wieght in the tail end of the arrow but thanks for the info |
I went ahead and got the Horten Bone Crusher bolts No lights but they have bright red nocks |

I don't worry to much about the speed the bows now are fast as long as the arrow does what I ask it to LOL I did have to upgrade my arrows because of the new bow & really hate to lose them when between arrow & broadhead I could loose about $30 a setup then add $10 for a lighted nock that doesn't work kinda defeats the purpose of spending $10 |
