Home Made Deer Attractants

Anyone have any recipes for attractants? I am a diy hunter and would like to make an attractant, preferably an attractant that can be used in a spray bottle. I'm in the North East and hunting whitetails. Thanks.

sounds dumb, but find a local person who raises deer and ask if you can get some pee from them. you'll have to follow around does forever and a day with a long stick with a tin-can on the end of it- and oh yeah, they need to be tamed for you to get that close.

I thought baiting in PA wasn't legal? Using attractants like salt or other non natural things, even in a spray could be a ticket issue, you need to check the regulations and be sure.

vanilla extract or imitation vanilla. 1 part vanilla 2 parts water.

A friend pointed out the wording on page 17 pa hunting digest. It sounds like vanilla buck bomb is considered bait? I thought if the couldn't eat it is was legal. I'll have to call the game commission for clarification.
