just tell you can still tag deer with the more primitive weapon. like you got more skill and talent than him.. :lol: :lol: :lol: im sure he will like that. unless you miss then take his crossbow from him.

i still dont have a crossbow yet. i guess im waiting for a monster buck to just be out of compound bow range and me not getting to tag it. then ill get down and go buy a crossbow. doesn't make sense does it?

im not at all in to crossbow hunters having the same bragging rights as other archers you litterally take away 95% of the human error! by all means fellas with a disability hats off to them using a crossbow at least they are out there enjoying the thrill!

Purchased my dad a barnett demon from e-bay and he's gonna try his luck this year.Will be a first for us both into archery hunting.I'll be using a compound.
Hope he doesn't smoke me lol and then again if he does it'll be great.He's gettin some age on him and has been havin some bad luck the last few years and he's not use to missin.I'm hopin that this will be his year to get back into the mix.

hey rock good luck to your dad. they say crossbows are pretty much a dead on tool of choice. when i become an old man and can no longer pull back my compound bow ill have to go buy me one

No skill huh? just like shooting a gun dont take any skill either you need to aim hold it steady, and all at the moment of truth. "I dont need to use a crossbow thank the Lord" but I have shot my uncles and it isn't as easy as it looks.

i dont own one the are illegal to hunt with in Ny unless your handicapped.I see no reason why they should be banned though.I dont think they should be allowed during bow season,during firearms or muzzleloader seems fair though
