| I am always ready for the rut! I saw the first scrapes of the year last week. I took off work the first week of November, hope I am not late. I have been reading that the last week of October is supose to be HOT! The cold snap this week should get them moving. |

| I took the first week of november off myself,I dont think we will be to late. I have been seeing alot of scrapes and rubs early,But your right,this cold snap will be to our advantage.GOOD LUCK |

| I took off November 7-13. I broke the first full and the second full week up. Now, I'm questioning myslef. Oh well! I based this time off on the moon rise, so if my theory holds true I should be good. We'll see.... BTW, I saw the first scrapes, I believe it was sometime around September 22. It was well before opening day!!! I took pics on my cell, I'll have to check the dates on those. Have you guys harvested yet? |

| My son and I have been seeing a lot of deer, mostly small does and basket racked bucks. There are some big bucks in the area so I am holding out for a Pope&Young buck. I took off the second week of November last year and did not see a shooter buck or even a mature Doe. There are 4 in my group that hunted that week and we all got skunked. |
