Hey guys just a little fyi.I shoot everyday and have gone through countless targets and purchased some bad ones.Hands down the best targets are RINEHART they have the best foam of any target. If you shoot it out in a year you get a new one.Just trying to save somebody from a bad purchase.Check em out if anybody needs a target.Great for broadheads too.

I am curious, how much does it really cost to make a block of foam to stop arrows. has anyone else ever wondered why these targets seem to cost what they do and only last the pre hunting season?

I pretty much took out a 150.00 3D last year . It has the replaceable center which is like 60.00. Didn't like broad heads at all.

I actually made one, one time. I made it out of 1" thick pink house insulation (that goes under siding). I cut it into 2'x2' peices and then placed them back to back to back,,etc... and then duck taped around the edges of the target. it worked ok, but leaves a film on my arrows. I have about 6 I shoot for only practice. Then I was given a bass pro target from the in-laws this past Christmas and it works well, but good luck getting your arrows out. Hand to lay it on the ground, place a foot on the target, and pull HARD with both hands. Rediculous. Wondering if you get what you pay for when it comes to targets.... those fusions look nice, but there's no way my wife will go for somethign like that....

I have been using a big bag target that is full of shreded rubber/plastic. I bought this when I was 15 and first got my bow and it is still stopping arrors evryshot over ten years later. Granted I dont get to shoot as much as I would like but it gets heavy use. I think it would last forever with field points. Last year I switched to muzzy fixed blades and have been using there practice heads which tend to tear it up a bit more.
Hay bails arecheap, replacabable, and the critters can make use of t when you are done.

Spiker, I don't think I've ever heard of those. I'll have to take a look at them. Thanks.
