i was out shooting today, and i was mainly practicing my short game trying to prepare myself for a kind of informal shooting league my pro shop told me about, that they host. max range is 20 yards, and they do what they called a 3 spot. i was doing pretty well, but im sure my first shoot with this league will be a humbling experience. but i got a little daring and decided to step it out to 60M and see if i could do anything. and just as anticipated my 4 pin put me just a hair low at 60. moved it, right on. stepped back some more, 5th pin was almost dead on at 75M, so i just moved back more, and its right on at 79M. i just didnt feel like moving pins anymore, and i highly doubt ill be shooting that far very often. but ill tell you what, it was really fun watching those arrows arc toward the target, im willing to bet they were about 4 or 5 feet above line of sight at their highest point. fun stuff.
