1st CA hunt

I grew up in IL and have hunted deer for years, now that I live in CA I think its about time to enjoy the state I live in. Any advice on who to meet up with and where to look for a first timer around here. I do not have the bankroll for private hunts, so no crazy ideas. Interested in finding some people to meet up with or at least a little help and I am up for any big game. Thanks.

Here's a good idea, why not call one of the hunter safety educators right in your local area,
I'm sure they can answer any/all of your questions
You might even make a local friend in the process.
