I have for some reason or another, always been intrigued by the overdraw. I am looking for the pros and cons as well as anyones past experience in their use. Are these devices relics of the past when arrow velocities were sub-par of what they are now? or is there still relevance to there use today. googleing does not pull in very much info or selections.

to the best of my knowledge they are relics. i had one put on my old whitetail II so i could shoot a short lighter spined arrow. i had to shoot telephone poles. with 33" arrows. now the biscuit and other rest are behind the riser most of the time anyway. the biggest down side was way less forgiving.

Thanks for the input ronn.

I am not committed to using one, just want to consider everything new or old. I am already shooting 29" arrows and wouldn't overrule the opportunity of shooting even shorter shafts than that.
