you should practice with what your gonna hunt with

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky

i usually practice with 3 or so arrows and then right before the hunt i shoot my basically brand new ones a few times just to make sure there accurate also. you gotta practice with what you hunt with. most arrows made today last a long time as long as you shoot straight and dont try to robin hood it every time. i pick out 3 seperate dots on my target and aim for the middle of each one. that insures i dont mess one up.
