Whats better a mechanical or fixed broadhead?

ronn you are correct about the barbs being illegal in new york but it wasnt the rage it was the switchblade mechanical which are barbed and illegal.Its is on our books that any b-head that is barbed is illegal.

what is the weight of your arrow and your draw length. and where on the animal are you not getting the penetration you think you should?

both KE and shot placement have a lot to do with penetration.

I think someone should check with the NH dept. of fish and game for an official answerm because I heard rage was illegal in NH also...

i've not heard that but there are a lot of things i don't hear. i don't shoot them and the co looked at my arrows so i know i'm good to go.
