Bow restrung??

ok i am wondering how often you need to restring your bow? when it starts to wear out? every 5 yrs or so? till you notice it fraying? what?

and i am also curious about the price it cost to restring one. a bow shop in my town said for all the strings on my hoyt it would be about $100. that is a winners choice string, which this bow shop claims to be the best you can get.

just want yall's advice on the matter.

you should restring your bow, as soon as you see it fraying or every 2-3 seasons depending on how often you wax your string i wax my string every week during season, and wax it again when i put it up for the season. That is very expensive string the most i have payed is 45 bucks for a string and has lasted me 3 seasons now.

ive had my bow restrung once and cost me about 90 bucks.before you get new strings check your bows web site because I shoot a parker and if you dont use parker strings it voids the lifetime warranty.I also change mine every 2 or 3 years.
