Just picked up my Bowtech General on Sat.

Critter make sure you check with Bowtech regarding your General, I'm not sure if you're aware but many 2008 generals were recalled...

here's the recall link. 2008 Bowtech General's recall

Congrtas I have one and they are awsome bows; smoothest, quietest, sweetest shooting bows on the market. And the recall was for the limbs on the first ones they put out that actually come out the end of 07 the 08's and newer are fine. You will love

The Recall is a 2008 recall. Let's not asume all of the BowTech Generals being sold are safe.
There may have been some late 2007 or early 2008 hold overs.
It's SAFER to check it out rather than just ignore it, don't you agree?

It cant hurt to ckeck. but you can tell by looking on the limbs where they mount to the riser and if there is a pin that runs vertical thruogh the limbs holding them on then your bow is not in the recall

Bruce there is no need to worry I had it taken care of the Day I picked it up,they replaced the limbs right then and there.
