It got very warm in my part of TN by 10 am or so. It started off cool and seemed like a great morning for deer to be moving a bit. It felt like about 85 degrees around noon. I am never in a stand when its that hot. Luckily it started cooling down around 4 or so and made the evening hunt enjoyable. I would say in a few weeks it should start getting prime bow hunting weather where your not sweating like crazy in the stand.

Default No luck opening day.

Its your bad luck. Opening day of deer season is mostly unlucky. Bows are tuned, stands are given the once-over to check for safety, clothes are
de-scentified. It’s exciting. Good luck next time.
