fletching new arrows

I went out and bought the new bohning arrow fletching kit and some wraps im gonna give it a try i got 6 with messd up fletchs.Its a nice kit comes with a jig,fletchs,nocks,glue,solvent instructions and a short how to video all in a nice little box.Im stripping 2 arrows now.when im done I'll post the results.I got a question though.I always shot straight fletch and the kit is a right twist fletch how much adjusting if any to the bow will i need to make?

I guess it depends on what kind of rest you use. If you use a whisker bisquit or a drop away you may not have to make any adjustment at all. If you use a standard fork style rest you may have to adjust the width of the opening.

I bet you will shoot much tighter groops with helical vanes. I didn't know they made straight ones.

I use a blitzniburger jig (spelled something like that) in straight fletch. I have an adjustment that will give about a 3* twist either left or right. I do shoot this through split fork type rest. The reason I like a near straight arrow fletch is to line the blades of the broadhead to the fletching. This gives me a good arrow flight with the 2" plastic vanes.

well i made the arrows with the right twist .i shoot a prong style also.i never had broadhead problems in the past i guess once the shop finishes my bow i'll find out
