carbon tends to shatter and break inside a deer.i read that ya got to be careful if this happens cuz the fibers go into the meat.i shoot carbos but im thinking of switching to the newer arrows that are carbon with a thin aluminum covering

Help with some questions 
For the most part I agree with wmi. I use a radial weave carbon with a Montec G5 broad head. I just like the idea of the cut on contact. As for carbon holding up, heh??? I've only shot 3 deer with them one I got back whole shooting my pse vengeance. The other 2 blew up after the past through. Those were out of my PSE XFORCE. I still think carbon is better, even with that.
