| That is a tough question each has there own following. I like carbons because they are faster and the smaller diameter helps with a more consistant pass thru. You also tend to be able to kill more deer with them because they do not get all bent up. As far as brand I shoot Gold Tips. Now your next question I'm not really found of Spitfires and shoot Muzzy. I tried Spitfires but had problems with them.Fewer pass thru and thus poor blood trails. Many bowhunters I know experienced the same. It is a question only you can truly answer by your own field testing, likes or dislikes. ![]() |

| carbon tends to shatter and break inside a deer.i read that ya got to be careful if this happens cuz the fibers go into the meat.i shoot carbos but im thinking of switching to the newer arrows that are carbon with a thin aluminum covering

| You're getting alot of good advice. I shoot carbons myself. Even had one blow up on me as soon as I released it. As far as broadheads. G5 and the new NAP Hellrazors can't be beat. Mechanicals, heard alot of bad things about the spitfires as far as not opening. I do a lot of research on broadhead testing and belong to a broadhead test site out of MI. As far as I am concerned, the Grimreaper razortip and the Rocky Mtn Snyper 2 blade for everything I have seen, can't be beat. Check out Grimreaper's site and look at the field testing they had done. It's streaming video and it will definetly impress you. Good luck on your decisions. TA HYBRIDS
