yeah it is, but aiming a bow is anchor and front pin. so it is kinda for aiming. I don't use a kisser button I just know they are out there. Or you can shoot instinctive. I chuckle a little when i see a kisser and a peep on a string but its whatever works for you, i guess.

i know some people swear by the kisser,they say it provides an anchor point i use the corner of my mouth and that aint going anywhere so i figure i dont need the kisser

some swear out the kisser. I'm a rifle shooter so I just need the peep and pin, at least in my mind. Its a head thing I think.
