I had a release go bad. On drawback in my 20 yard lane in the basement it let go. Going through a garment bag then through a canning pot and electric frying pan. What was nice was the arrow was still good.

I messed my sights up pretty bad one time when I accidentally dropped my bow on the ground. When I shot it, I missed my target and it stuck in my metal door to my shop. I have a nice hole there now to remind me! :)

Bowstring I have had a D-loop break looked fine from the outside but internal cords broke all I can say is I saw stars & blood I was about half draw when it snapped punched myself in the nose you realize just how strong you are when you do something like this
