bruce thank you for the link, that is a little much to carry. i want to keep my ruck under 90lb lol. that seams like the complete list if you are using a stand and lure. i think you should have that link as a sticky so it is always on top of the threads, it is the biggest help for the new people who aren't sure if they have all the equipment (like me)

i have a quick question for anyone who can answer. is there anyway that you can make the sounds realistic enough with your mouth and hands for hunting white tail?

The only thing that I've ever done is a soft doe grunt to stop the deer for an easier shot. At least I try to sound like a doe but I think I sound more like a duck or something.LOL

I am with timberghost on this one.. Very difficult to do.. I try to imitate a doe bleat to stop a running buck.. I think it sounds so terrible they stop and look to try and figure out what the heck made such an awful noise.

I think everyone tries that at one time or another.dang TV hunting shows are brainwashing us

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky
