missed a good one
 

i was bow hunting tonight and missed a good buck. i was wanting to know how long i should wait to go back and hunt that spot. also do you think that buck will stick around?

I would say a lot would be based on if you were busted or not, meaning did he see you? You can spook them by sound. A clean miss an not seen could had just been same as a branch falling close to him. If you were busted then you should move your stand I think you could just give it till next weekend, but ive had deer bust me in a stand and notice they will start looking up at it if its happen a few times. And I'd also say that if that's the bucks area he'll stay there but if pushed much he'll just go full nocturnal n you'll never see him in daylight hours again this season.

I agree, if you simply shot and missed and he just took off then I'd skip a day or two and go right back in. If he caught you moving or scented you then he may be gone for the rest of the season. You can simply keep hunting and hope another buck happens your way.

Yep..agree, if the buck saw you maybe just give it week. But I guess it's better if you'll just have to change your stand for a week in a place i guess half a mile from the spot.
