Ohio, October lull
 

Starting my fourth day in a row from the stand, October Lull in full effect here in northern ohio..

Hang in there, it will get better. Here in SEMO, showing signs of pre rut. When is the rut usually get good there in OHIo??

not sure where you are hunting but I'd be looking for white acorns and setting up on the well used trails. Farm land bucks are so hard to figure out as they seem to travel through the same woods about every third-fourth day at best here in NW Ohio. I'll be hunting Athens county next weekend to try for a nice buck.

Welp, about 10 mins after I posted this I a small eight point arrived under my stand. I hit him high but my Rage broad head got a bit of the hart and a lung so he didn't get very far. Had back straps on the grill for dinner. Straggly enough he was walking with another buck which I was surprised about. I felt bad taking him but it was my last day in the stand. Can I post pictures?
