Took my first Deer with a Bow on Sunday 09/30/12. He walked out at 19 yds. around 7:15 AM after the shot he walked of slowly and expired about 40 yds away. Shooting a Mission Riot with Muzzy MX3 Broad heads. He is not a monster but a good deer ands a great experience. Only topped by the two deer my boys harvested in the weeks prior Sept. was a month of Firsts and will be long remembered. Not a good month to be a deer around my family... LOL

Ever I bought my first Bow over the summer practiced like crazy for a few months. This was my second Bow Hunt EVER.

Congrats! Unless you are on television, any deer (unless it's small, is with fawns, still has spots, etc.) with a bow is a good deer. Awesome start to the season. I shot a 4 pointer my first time bow hunting after being on stand for 50 minutes, I was/ am totally hooked.

8pt for your first bow kill on your second ever bow hunt. Great odds your playing there. Need to buy lottery tickets when its rollin like that. Nice deer:thumbup:
