    Thanks. I'd seen pictures only of the Savage 219, but knew I'd enjoy having one. I found a good trade and now enjoy it. It has a groove on the receiver top that accepts some types of rings (like those for a .22) and it now wears an old Lyman All-American 3X scope. Tough to tell from the photo, but the receiver is also color case and retains about 95% of it's original finish.
