That is a tough question each has there own following. I like carbons because they are faster and the smaller diameter helps with a more consistant pass thru. You also tend to be able to kill more deer with them because they do not get all bent up. As far as brand I shoot Gold Tips. Now your next question I'm not really found of Spitfires and shoot Muzzy. I tried Spitfires but had problems with them.Fewer pass thru and thus poor blood trails. Many bowhunters I know experienced the same. It is a question only you can truly answer by your own field testing, likes or dislikes. |
