I support meaningful efforts that would reduce crimes such as those mass-killings. I do not support additional panic laws that won't do anything useful, such as a high capacity magazine ban. There are millions of these out there, with no dates of manufacture or serial numbers, so banning them will do nothing to reduce crime except turn millions of law abiding citizens into paper criminals when they refuse to give theirs up.
The big skeleton in the closet is that each mass killer was on some sort of anti-depressent, and yet no one is linking these events to any pharmacological issue with our over-medicated society. There's too much money from the major drug and pill houses at stake.
