I'm like you, I want to help the herd out as much as I can as well, but I just don't have the money. I think people can do too much as well with trying to "help". I know alot of guys who visit their feeders and mineral licks on a weekly basis. The best thing to do is leave it and get out- for at least a month. let the deer grow accustomed to it. Even if they clean up the corn pile in a week- they'll keep coming back to it even though it's gone- they'll smell it. Then after a month, refresh it. I truely think that's the best thing to do.
