 Rookie hunter in need of help
Hello all. I am as new as they come to the hunting community. I have never hunted in my life. For some reason I have an itch to shoot a buck. I live in central Florida and would like to hunt somewhere nearby to start. Ocala National Forest looks like as good a place as any, however I have heard some negative things about some that hunt there. Territorial disputes mostly. Being a new hunter I am bound to piss people off but I don't want to piss off the wrong person. Anyone have some areas they would recommend? I would prefer public land.
