Here in ky we have a "donate a deer" program that's run by the fish and game. But they only take so many and are used to feed people in shelters around the area and not for individuals. That program has set prosesers that take them for that.
An idea would be to find you local prosesers and/or taxidermist and ask them if they get anyone that ordered specialty meats (summer sausage, breakfast sausage, bacon, ect...) and don't want all their order that you'll take it. Now of corse it's gonna cost you the difference that the origanl customer is not paying, but ya get the meat.
