don't worry, We've seen this happen a gazillion times but rest assured when the rut kicks in, you'll have some daylight action. That's my guess anyway. Good Luck and keep us posted.
Yup the rut will have some of the bucks showing themselves during hunting hours, however, most of the rut activity still takes place at night. I love morning bowhunting during the rut.
I would suggest that you hunt the woods during early bow season as the bucks are typically going to stay in shaded or cooler areas. They become nocturnal almost, but when that first cold hits, they like to get up and moving earlier and earlier in the evening. Eventually when the rut hits, they can be on the move for a large majority of the day. Typically I bow hunt the woods or wood-lines early season all the way up to the rut and then when the rut hits, I like to back off and get to a position where I can see alot more ground. IMO
