What does a Nosler M48 with these options cost????
I know that it is out of my pricerange but what is Nosler getting for a M48 setup like yours? The scope is the only part of your setup that I know I could afford. I am wondering if a Remington M700 stainless mountain rifle in 7mm-08 would shoot and handle in the same league as your Nosler. There are some of the Remingtons offered in Gunbroker with a Bell and Carlson synthedic stock priced around 900 dollars.
pretty good shooting! That rifle is a keeper for sure. The weatherby rifles I have in 270 wm shoot pretty tight groups right from the factory, as long as I do my part.
In most cases the rifle shoots better than the average shooter can do with it. The big difference is the shooters that demand 1/2" groups and pay bigger bucks/efforts to get there. I'm a hunter first so sub 1" groups isn't a top priority for me, however, having a rifle that will do it would be big deal! When my TC omega wouldn't group at all, I sent it back, TC re-crowned the barrel and now it shoots like a dream.
