called winchester today. 1999 is the year and that series was made specially for............................................... .................................................. ...............................WALMART! was hoping for better news but it is still an awesome shooter. it was rusted really bad and i worked most of the pits out and blued it. looks ok but had i known it was a walmart gun i might have not put that much time and effort into it.
