Default Don't ignore the Marlin XS7 in 308 Win
The two rifles you are looking are both good entry level rifles. I would add the Marlin XS7 into your list for comparisons. I have shot a couple of XL7s
both in 30-06 and they were good rifles. The Marlin XS7 is available at the 300-350 pricepoint.
