I just joined the crossbow ranks with a Stryker 380 (bowtech). It was a toss up between that and the 350 which would have done just fine for a little less money. I shot similar bows in Barnett, and Ten Point. I liked the lightness and speed of the SZ 380. Also the trigger was very nice.
If you don't have access to a proshop nearby like I do I would get an Excaliber because they seem much simpler. But I'm a novice myself but when I can sit down at the pro shop and put two arrows 1" apart 1" high of the bull at 20 yds after a long absence from bow hunting I'm impressed because my shooting skills are not what they used to be at 65 yrs old.
I'm going to use luminocks and crossfire crossbow broadheads 100 gr
