with snow on the ground food and heat are the 2 main objectives hunt where its sunny and no wind a deer can smell an acorn under 4' of snow hunt the acorns if ya can find em.keep trying drop further into the woods they may be nervous bout showing out in the open ya know theres guys with guns trying to kill em  but sounds like they're pretty safe round you two  just kidding.
