Sorry about the delayed response HM, just saw this now. I use the same thing as you, 870 I bought in 1975, and a Redfield 2x-7x Widefield I bought in 1969, Hastings 24" cantilevered scope mount. I thought about updating to a Savage 210? bolt action, but this rig still works good for me, I've had it so long I really can't see myself goin' to the woods without it. I had to have the scope rebuilt about 13 or 14 years ago, it just came apart internally, I guess from age, and it has been fine since. What kind of scope do you have on yours?? |
