Will do brother,,, God does many things that we as humans cannot understand. You're right about the boasting thing.. God wants us to be committed to Him, not ourselves. I have the same problem too man, so don't think I'm trying to be high and mighty. I do, however, use much of my hunting time as prayer time with God. One thing many people don't understand is that God doesn't want you to just pray to Him, He wants a relationship with you. Just like you have with your dad, brother, wife, son, daughter, etc... but this relationship is more special than any other. It's not to be treated like any other. But none-the-less, He DOES want a relationship and here's the kicker- He wants US to start it!
My life is a crazy balancing act right now with 2 kids under 4 y/o, a job, wife, bills to pay and finding time to do all the little things. I have a 25 min drive to work every morning and I try to use that as prayer time as well. I try to speak to God in a way that is not like a typical prayer. I try to talk to Him like He's sitting right next to me in the car.
Good luck man, and I'll be praying for ya

James 1:2-8
