I am with fly
as with the release I can say it has made me a lot better shooter but everything else I am with you scribe
especially on the sling & long distance shooting
I purchased a primos sling & more then making it easier to carry the bow on a long jaunt it also protects the string & cams in the woods
long distance shooting: I practice out to 70 yards (actually a lot of fun)
I do suggest using your worst arrows to start with
