Well I do agree with you on all of it but the fingers. I haven't been shooting for 40 years (haven't even been alive that long) but do have a strong 20 years in an I haven't traveled n hunted anywhere, but have taken many of deer, turkey, and squrail, and have also killed a tree or two my self with my bow. I shot aluminum arrows up untill last year. But on the finger thing yes I think everyone should practice with fingers every now n then as well just in case of release damage or forgot it at camp or what ever. One should not leave because they forgot their release. I do think a release aids in better smother shooting for the average shooter though
