Thanks... It's the 18.5" barrel with beaded sights..addressing the 50yrds ...what kind of scope would you recommend for it??
If you add a scope you should be good to 100 yards or so. Depending on your budget I would personally recommend a Leupold or a Nikon shotgun scope. Some of the Mueller and Bushnell scopes are okay as well. Keep in mind that a 12 gauge shooting slugs has quite a bit of recoil and it will break a cheap scope. The reason I say keep your shots around 50 yards with a bead sight is because I have seen a lot of missed deer with them. If you decide to just use the bead sight then you must practice and get very comfortable using it, and take your time when taking aim at a deer.
