Hi y'all... Sorry it's been so long since I've been on here... summertime is hectic for me and I stay plenty busy. Got done cutting, raking, bailing hay early last week which I'm thankful for b/c the past two weeks have been scorcers for Missouri. Temps around 100 w/heat index around 110.
Anyways, I'm writing today in regards to my Truth Cam 60. Does anyone use this camera? Here's my problem... the past two times I've went and swapped out memory cards, the camera has been turned ALL the way OFF when I get to it. No one has access to it, that was my first guess... I know all these trail cams have "sleep mode" but does this cam turn all the way off when on sleep mode? When I approach my camera, I walk straight up to it. It should take at least 1 picture of me approaching it. It doesn't. There is over 50% battery life left on it too. I'm wondering if this is a defect or if this extreme heat is causing it to do funny things. Personally, it's really ticking me off b/c with 3 trail cams out I have yet to see one decent buck. The only buck I've seen the past 3 months is a button buck! Get this, the only does I've been seeing is last year's fawn does. I don't get it. I'm not doing anything differently this year and it has me worried. Don't know about you guys, but my adrenaline gets going 100 mph when I pull those cards and when I look at them and see NOTHING to write home about, it takes the air right out of me... Like someone done shot my dog or something. ha. Irritated..yes, majorly.
Haha! Sorry fellas, the truth cam is on EBAY as we speak. I started it out at $81.99 and it's up to $83 with 4 days to go. Checked wal-mart out this weekend and they had my bushnell marked down to $124 (used to be $147). AND the moultrie d-80 was $127... what to get, what to get....
My hunting partner bought the moultrie D-80 this morning. We already hung it. Ill have some pics for you in 2 weeks.
He was horse laughing me as I set it up on the way to the woods. Calling me a moron etc because of how long it was taking me. It will be funny when he checks his camera and every picture says ARKSUCKS on it. He is a huge Arkansas fan. Im just glad I didnt tell him when we got out of the woods. He would have prob went back in after it.

that is hilarious! Let me know how he likes that d-80. My truth cam 60 is set to sell this sat, so i'll be purchasing either the bushnell or d-80 on sat night or sun afternoon. can't wait!
Well I bought the M-80 (I kept calling it the D80),, got it last night for $121 w/free shipping. The truth cam 60 sold for $127 on ebay. now is the hard part.. waiting for it to get here!
What's going on with your D55? I've been seeing them cams going for as little as $86!!! and that's the IR too! What's the deal? YOu can really tell the cams that keep their going price are the ones worth buying. my D-55ir is still going fine... I think... it's been 2 weeks since I've checked it.
I'm anxious for my M80 to get here... I'm tired of spending $10 for a new set of batteries b/c they have to be C's or D's.

Mine is working fine no issues as far as the price goes they have been on ebay for a couple months
I am hoping it is just because of new models coming out
Well i'm going to get my M80 out this weekend and stick it on a tree. Hopefully I get some good pics from it. Friday is the first day I'll be out hunting! FINALLY! Had to ask my wife real nicely too! lol
Internal 2.4 battery is defective. Took mine apart. 1 year old. This powers memory chip. Battery leaked onto circuit board.
