It's always interesting to hear the stories from the elders in my community about the "old ways" of hunting and how the deer were viewed as majestic animals and known as "brothers" along with all animals who share the bounties of mother earth. I think it's safe to say that we (hunters and outdoorsman)still keep that tradition going as we enter their world.
