I'd say start with a range rod. Then get Cabela's brand cleaning products, they come in a kit, I think it's around $40. Personally, I wouldn't use a wire brush. I feel running a DAMP patch followed by a dry one and firing a primer between shots would be more consistent which promotes accuracy. A trick I learned from TC's DVD is to ring out the pre-saturated patches before running them down the bore. It still does the job but doesn't put excess moisture in the barrel or flash hole.
