i dont shoot either rifle but respect both. The discussion over which round/rifle is better is a big part of deer hunting. The topic will never be settled ,I hope. The topic is a staple round the deer camp table just like mashed taters....or do you like baked...or boiled taters.Years ago i heard an old man say "BEWARE THE MAN WHO OWNS BUT ONE RIFLE.HE'S LIBEL TO KNOW HOW TO USE IT".Just thought i'd throw that out there.Whatever rifle/round you prefer make sure you burn ammo till it and you are one and deadly accurate.

Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky
