baiting laws where I live are that you can't bait deer with grain or grain licks, or anything that is not grown with the exception of salt licks or mineral licks. you can use smell attractants though. you can use ALL these baits if you are not hunting the deer. if you use baits, they have to be removed 10 days prior to the season starting. I use the baits to draw deer to my cameras so I know what to look for when the season begins.
