We have 2 of the CVA wolf, bought 1 year apart. They are able to use magnum loads, but with the terrain here and how close the deer come, we don't use more than 100 grains of Triple 7 pellets. You just need to set up at the range and try it with the different loads. As long as you don't go over 150 grains of pellets, you should not have a problem, just remember to swab the barrel after every 3-4 shots, or accuracy might be affected or the build up of residue could affect the barrel.
