Ron, I have tied it on the climber, along with extra clothes, and humped it "back in" but that is a chore. I keep thinkin there must be a better way. I thought this year I'd weigh it all up and try to condense but I'm half afraid to put it all on the scales
I've thought of doing that too, but don't have the guts to do it!
Most places I hunt don't allow motor vehicles, so I use a game hauler to get animals out. Occasionally, if I'm going way in, I'll take the hauler in with me and use it to pack in my hunting stuff. I'll leave it at a place not too far from where I intend to hunt. That way, if I get something, I don't have to walk all the way back to get the hauler then back to get the animal and then back the the truck. Even if you are only two miles in, that could be a total of 8 miles of walking!
