I'm not convinced that the mechanical broadheads are better or not. I've never had a blade separation on a Muzzy either. I've seen 1st hand the damage a solid hit from the rage heads do so I know they are lethal as are most broadheads. I say pick one that shoots the best from your rig and be satisfied. Of the 4 bucks shot with the Rage none went more than 30 yds after the hit pretty impressive. I have a lot of confidence in Muzzy broadheads having used them for many years. I like the MX3 .
