At work one of the guys who usually does all the welding on things had to do some this week and I finally got the nerve to give it a try. It's a long story but to make it short I welded well away from the weld target and messed it all up and they had to take a grinder to get all the "birdcrap" or "grapes" or whatever it's called. Then I got the "arc-eye" from trying to line up the weld before you flip the shield down....well I arced it before I had the chance to cover up and got myself a good headache and my buddy said that putting potato slices or something on your eyes at night will help the headache then everybody started calling me potato eyes. When they looked at my weld they said "wow, what happened?" I said "well how come nobody was watching me?" (we only have 1 welding mask) LOL
